WAVEFORMS (CONTINUED)
TENS- Symmetrical Biphasic
Advice on size and type of electrodes to be used is given in device GUI
"treatment guidelines" feature
The Symmetrical Biphasic waveform has a short pulse duration
and is capable of strong stimulation of nerve fibers in the skin
and in muscle. This waveform is often used in portable muscle
stimulation units, and some TENS devices.

TENS - HAN
Advice on size and type of electrodes to be used is given in device GUI
"treatment guidelines" feature
The HAN Waveform provides optimal parameters with a precisely
controlled sequence of Dense-and-Disperse (DD) modes of
stimulation where a burst of 8 pulses at 80Hz is alternating with
continuous stimulation (no burst), each lasting for 3 seconds. This
produces a synergistic analgesic effect.
