Using the Device
Attaching the Clearomizer
A Clearomizer can be attached when TC mode is selected. The message
"New Atomizer?" will then appear on the display first, followed by "YES+/
NO-". If you choose "YES+", the battery carrier adopts the resistance of
the new head. With "NO-", the preselected resistance settings remain in
place. (Please ensure that the screen is on when you first install a new
Clearomizer and the attached head is at room temperature).
Charging the Device
Connect the battery to a PC or notebook via the Micro-USB cable.
The charger connection is located beneath the two setting buttons.
The maximum charge rate is 2A. If you connect the Speeder to a
charger, the display will show the current charge status of the battery.
The charging process will stop automatically and the screen will switch
off once the battery is completely charged (4.2V). The batteries cannot
be switched during the charging process, please remove the USB
connection to do this.
Tips for Battery Power & Battery Life
If the battery is not used for an extended period of time, it loses
between 5% and 10% of its performance after 3 months, 15% to 20%
after 6 months, and 25% to 30% after one year, which is in line with
industrial standards and guidelines. We recommend recharging the
battery at least every 3 months to ensure a long life.
