4b. Attach nut securely into the pressure
balance valve.
Secure the canopy onto the
coverplate with set screw.
Temporarily install the handle adapter
onto the valve stem and the handle
onto the adapter.
5. Install the handle onto the valve stem using
supplied screw. Measure the distance from
point A on the lever to point B on the canopy.
Subtract 1/16" from this measurement to obtain
the amount of valve stem to cut off
6. Ex. If the distance between A & B is 1",
Amount to cut off = 1"–1/16" = 15/16"
Mark the amount to cut off from the end of the
valve stem.
