the attached safety instructions before putting the product
into operation. Further, we recommend keeping the
Operating Instructions for future reference to recall the

Specified Conditions Of Use
The safety hood (sandblasting hood) may ONLY be used
for sandblasting, any other type of use will be regarded as
unintended.
If you suffer health problems due to incorrect handling, you
must consult a doctor without delay.
The safety hood and pullover jacket must not be used as a
storage surface for tools or the like.
General
Before use:
The safety hood (sandblasting hood) may only be used
with two safety screens, one plastic and one glass, which
comply with DIN EN 166:2001 and are marked.
They are installed by inserting the safety screens from the
inside into the plastic frame with the plastic screen having
to be located between the eye and the glass screen.
They are secured by a plastic glass holder frame.
The sandblasting hood must be placed on your head
before starting sandblasting and adjusted using the
headband to ensure it is perfectly positioned.
The sandblasting hood must not be moved until the
sandblasting work has been completed since otherwise
you may suffer health damage to your health and eyes.
Servicing instructions:
To make sure the proper function of the product is
maintained, the protective nozzle must be cleaned at
regular intervals. The same applies to the protective
glasses that must be replaced in time if necessary to
provide perfect visibility. For hygienic reasons, the front
leather sweatband must be replaced when dirty.
If the shield is damaged, with its perfect protective effect
no longer being provided, it must not be used any longer. It
must be disposed in accordance with the applicable
regulations.

Warranty
A warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use
and 24 months apply to private use and commences on
the day of purchase of the device.
Warranty applies exclusively to failures due to defective
material or workmanship. An original sale slip with
indication of date of sale must be presented in case of
claiming for the warranty rights.
Warranty does not cover unprofessional use such as
device overload, violent use, damage caused by third party
or foreign materials, failure to comply with operations and
assembly manual, and normal wear and tear.
Emergency Action
Apply the first aid adequate to the injury and get qualified
medical assistance as quickly as possible. Protect the
injured person from more accidents and calm him/her
down.
For the sake of eventual accident, in accordance with
DIN 13164, a workplace has to be fitted with a first-aid
kit. It is essential to replace any used material in the
first-aid kit immediately after it has been used. If you
