screen and then select program no. 8 using the (+) or (-) buttons. Then press (I/O).
- Using the (+) button, select the tens of hours (0, 1 or 2) and press on (-), then select the
units of hours using (+) and then press (-). Again, use (+) to select the tens of minutes
and press (-) to fix the selection, and use (+) to select the units of minutes and press (-).
- Them press (I/O) to start cooking. The LCD screen will indicate and begin the cooking
time countdown.
When cooking ends, the device will automatically stop and produce a sound.
At any time during cooking you may press once on (I/O) to cancel manual cooking or
twice on (I/O) to turn off the device.
Pre-Set Cooking:
You may program a pre-set cooking, and the device will turn itself on automatically at
the selected time (for programmed or manual cooking).
Press on (I/O) to display 4 zeros on the screen. Press on (PROG) so the tens of hours be-
gins to blink. Select the time using the (+) button.
Example: to cook in 12H48, select number 1.
Then press (-). The units of hours number blinks. Select the units of hours using the (+)
button.
Example: to cook in 12H48, select number 2.
Then press (-). The tens of minutes number blinks. Select the tens of minutes using the
(+) button.
Example: to cook in 12H48, select number 4.
Then press (-). The units of minutes number blinks. Select the units of minutes using the
(+) button.
Example: to cook in 12H48, select number 8.
Then press (PROG), and as above and based on the food, select an automatic or manual
cooking program. Then press (I/O).
The countdown begins, and when it reaches zero, the device begins cooking the food
based on the time that has been programmed.

COOKING ADVICE
• VEGETABLES
1. Cut the thick and hard stem of broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower.
2. Expose leafy green vegetables the least time possible to steam since they rapidly lose
their color.
3. Add salt to vegetables after steaming for best results.
4. Frozen vegetables must not be thawed prior to steaming.
5. Do not hesitate to place aromatic herbs with vegetables during cooking in order to
improve their scent.
6. Use a knife to prick the vegetables and check whether they are cooked.
