Working with the guiding device

Check the automatic retraction
before each use of the guiding
device. Do not use the guiding
device if the retraction does not
work.

4.1 Assembly

Connecting the machine with the guiding device

Push the machine onto the guiding device in
processing direction until the machine engages
in the ratchet. The machine is then connected to
the guiding device.
Detaching the machine from the guiding device

You can detach the machine from the guiding
device towards the rear by actuating the ratchet
20 (Fig. 1).
When using the guiding device S
Set the machine's cutting depth to at least 30 mm ( 1
3/16 in. ) and release the connecting cable from the
cable retaining bracket. Afterwards, you can remove
the machine from the guide rail to the rear by pushing
the locking lever 20 (Fig. 1).
When using the repetitive stops guiding device
M/ML/L
Quick adjustment of the repeater stops 43 (Fig. 3)

Using the Allen key, turn the hexagonal bolt in
the repeater stop by approx. ½ revolution
counter clockwise.

Push the repeater stop against the permanently
set stop from the side facing away from 0°, so
that it rests behind the stop.

Tighten the hexagonal bolt in the repeater stop.

Also set the repeater stop on the opposite 0°
side accordingly.

4.2 Processing

Procedure for processing with the guiding device

Release the limit stop 21 (Fig. 1) and adjust the
angle according to the scale on the guiding
device.

Retighten the limit stop.

Set the cutting depth and cutting angle on the
machine.

Apply the machine to the workpiece to be
processed with the two stop bolts 22 (Fig. 2) on
the bottom side of the guiding device and
execute the cut by pushing the machine
forward.
Danger
There is a risk of injury due to the
exposed rotating insertion tool.




When the cut is completed, switch off the
machine by releasing the switch trigger.

After the cut, return the machine to its starting
position by retracting it.

Do not reach with your hands
into the working area and do
not touch the insertion tool.
With your other hand, support
the supplementary handle or
the motor casing.
Do not reach under the
workpiece.
Never support the workpiece
in your hand or over your leg.
Secure the workpiece against
a sturdy support.
