Digital Kitchen Scales
Dear Customer,
We are delighted that you have chosen the MAXXMEE digital kitchen scales. Thanks
to four integrated sensors, they measure the weight precisely down to the nearest
gram - from 1 g up to 5 kg. The LC display is illuminated so that you can easily read
the measured values in g, ml, lb:oz and oz. The convenient tare function means that
adding ingredients and resetting the scales is also not a problem.

Information About the Operating Instructions
Before using the device for the fi rst time, please read through these operating in-
structions carefully and keep them for future reference and other users. They form an
integral part of the device. The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if
the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.

INTENDED USE

• The device is intended to be used
to weigh food (max. 5000 g /
176.37 oz / 5000 ml / 11.02 lb:oz).

The device is for personal use only
and is not intended for commercial
applications.

Use the device only for the specifi ed
purpose and as described in the
operating instructions. Any other use
is deemed to be improper.
■
The warranty does not cover faults
caused by incorrect handling, damage
or attempted repairs. The same ap-
plies to normal wear and tear.

WARNING – Danger of Injury

Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material. There is a
danger of suffocation.
■
The device is not a toy! Do not leave
children and animals unsupervised
with the device.
■
There may still be some production
residues on the device. For reasons
of hygiene, the device should be
cleaned with warm water and a little
detergent before you fi rst use it.
■
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed.
Batteries and the device should be
kept out of the reach of children and
animals. If a battery is swallowed,
immediate medical attention must be
sought. There is a danger of burns
from battery acid!

If a battery leaks, avoid physical
contact with the battery acid. Wear
protective gloves. If you touch battery
acid, rinse the affected areas with
abundant clear water straight away
and seek medical assistance immedi-
ately. There is a danger of burns from
battery acid!
