V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for indoor domestic use.
- The product is intended for drilling and forward/reverse screwing (within tool own specifications).
- Do not use tool for any other use outside the scope of this manual.
- The product is not intended for artisanal, commercial, professional and/or industrial use.
- Do not use for applications not covered in this manual.
- The manufacturer or seller cannot be held responsible for incorrect or non-compliant use of machine.
5.2- Operation:
1. Ensure that battery is fully charged.
2. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
3. Insert bit or accessory in the chuck.
4. Prepare material for work
5. Secure material if necessary.
Do not use your own weight or body to hold material.
6. Firmly hold tool to avoid kickbacks. Always maintain a balanced and secure position.
7. Place bit on material. Do not make sudden movements.
8. Press on switch (7) to start operation.
9. Once work is finished, stop product by releasing the switch (7).
Note: do not put down product until chuck has completely stopped rotating.
5.3- Tips for drilling
a) For drilling into wood, do not use the torque control. Select the regular drilling position " ".
b) When drilling timber, use a woodworking bit.
c) When drilling metals or plastic, use a metal bit.
d) When drilling into soft wood, the drill should be operated at its maximum speed.
e) When drilling into hard wood the drill should be operated at low speed.
f) Always drill in forward rotation.
5.4- Tips for screw driving
a) Before driving screws in wood, a suitable hole should be made in the workpiece.
This will prevent the screw and bit from wandering over the workpiece causing damage.
b) It is recommended that when screw driving, the tool should be operated at low speed.
c) Insert the bit into the screw head and gently drive the screw into the hole.
d) When the clutch engages immediately release pressure on the trigger switch.
e) It is recommended to commence at the lowest torque setting and increase until the screw has been
driven to the desired point.
ATTENTION! Do not assume of your knowledge of the tool.
DO not be filled (over repeated use) with a sense of ease and familiarity with the tool, neglecting strict
compliance to the safety instructions given with the tool.
Improper use of the tool or failure to comply with the provided safety instructions in this manual can
cause severe injury.
Remember that a split second of negligence is enough to cause serious damage.
Remain alert about your surroundings and especially for any danger that you may not hear while using
the tool.
