Model R45
Description of the machine
The excavator R45 was projected with the intention to create a machine with a very high
relationship between power / weight. Kubota engine of 67 Hp (2607) and weight of about 4000
kg.
The innovative structure of the chassis is composed by a double articulation (front and rear)
that assures less overall dimensions and makes easier the work in slopes.
The large excursion of the front and rear legs makes easier the possibility to stay in a plane
position also in big slopes.
The leg extension is of hydraulic type with an internal piston as on big dimension machines
and with an extension of 500 mm.
The gearboxes for the motion (Bonfiglioli Transmital +Kayaba motor) have the double speed
direct on the motor thanks to an hydraulic pilot controlled from the cabin.
The slew bearing and the rotation motor are generous in dimensions to grant power on a
slope.
The boom is a "boomerang" type and can be closed near the cabin reducing the overall
dimensions during the rotation of the machine.
The comfortable cabin is equipped with heating and can be tilted hydraulically for maintenance
purposes; for a easier maintenance, the cabin and the body can be tilted simultaneously.
The main control valve of the machine is a Load Sensing type.

It must be clear that the excavator is not a lifting equipment, if an excavator is going to be
used, also for a few times, as a lifting equipment, the main boom as well as the secondary
boom cylinders must be equipped with locking valves. The transformation can be requested at
the moment the machine is ordered.
