Congratulations on the purchase of your furniture
This furniture is made of handcrafted solid Acacia. Acacia is a particularly durable hardwood. The fine ribs, drawings of wood and color shades give the furniture a solid and warm
look.
Characteristics :
The Acacia wood used for your furniture is a natural and unique product that is worked in a traditional way in its country of origin, after a very careful selection. Each piece is
unique and characteristic because no piece of wood has the same color or the same structure. It may therefore result in color shades in the product. Cracks, inequalities, as well
as large and small knots are the result of several years of growth and shaft properties. The color of the new furniture can become more clear and warm after use and under the
influence of light.
The varnish used for your furniture is of superior quality and offers the best possible protection for wood. Treatment with this varnish accentuates the design of the ribs and gives
the furniture a more intense radiation.
Maintenance :
To ensure a natural look to this piece, the varnish used has an open structure. We recommend therefore for normal maintenance of your furniture, to use a food grade mineral oil.
Before performing this treatment, always contact your dealer and follow the instructions in the product's guide.
Recommendations :
• Wood is a living material: it expands and shrinks under the influence of air moisture. That's why the house's air moisture is important. The ideal percentage of
air moisture is between 40% and 60%. At a higher or lower air moisture percentage, furniture could crack. Especially in the winter months, air moisture can drop
sharply due to heating. That is why it is important to maintain the same air moisture percentage throughout the year, by putting suspended (small) water tanks on
radiators (central heating).
• To prevent unnecessary pressure on the attachment points, we recommend you place your acacia product on a flat surface.
• The acacia product should not be directly exposed to a source of heat or light.
• We recommend that you do not place furniture near a heat register.
• If you use pans, coffee pots, cups, etc., we recommend using a mat.
• If you spill liquid, immediately use a dry cloth to wipe the surface until it is completely dry.
• We recommend (especially during the first year), to move decorative objects on the table surface to prevent possible color change.
• Use a desk blotter if you write directly on the furniture surface to avoid marking the table.
• To prevent damage to the floors, we recommend placing felt or plastic tips under each leg.
• Sometimes the characteristic wood odor persists for some time. Most often this smell will disappear after 1-2 weeks. If the room is ventilated regularly, the odor
disappears faster.
• Our acacia product is designed, developed and tested for indoor use. It is not intended for commercial use. The guarantee is not applicable in case of commercial
use or outdoor use.
