LEVEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM CONNECTION DESCRIPTION
This connection applies only to our passive speakers with built-in transformer of 70/100V. It allows to
connect several speakers to one channel so that you only need one amplifier. The "COM/-" terminal
on the amplifier stands for the negative pole and the "70V/100V/+" stands for positive. The red
speaker terminal stands for positive, the black one for negative. Please make sure not to invert
polarity because incorrect connection would damage the
amplifier and/or the speaker. Set the switch on the rear
panel to your desired output power (see picture below).
The total power of all speakers must not exceed the
nominal power of the amplifier. One 80W amplifier
channel can drive up to 8 speakers of 10W i.e. 10 x
8=80W. However, for safety reasons, the total power of all
speakers should remain below ¾ of the nominal amplifier
power. So, one 80W amplifier could drive 6 x 10W
speakers.
