1 INTRODUCTION / EINLEITUNG
1.1 Concept / Concept / Konzept
The Calypso is a modular 8-digit scoreboard that uses LED technology and
allows indoor as well as outdoor applications.
Full compliance is offered with Swiss Timing products (Quantum, Saturn controller or
ARES) for sports such as water polo, swimming and diving.
The display is available in two versions – the master and slave. The first has an
integrated power supply and its own driver and is capable of controlling up to 3 slave
devices.
Each 24 cm digit consists of 150 white LED's for optimal contrast and crystal clear
display up to 150 meters. Moreover the LED brightness is automatically adapted to the
surrounding light through an integrated sensor.
The compact grey aluminium housing has an acrylic finish to guarantee the best
protection against the elements. The scoreboard is designed to be installed against a
wall and the module to module cabling is internal. Easy front access for maintenance
and cleaning is allowed.
Le Calypso est un affichage modulaire à 8 digits utilisant la technologie LED et
permettant une utilisation à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur.
Une compatibilité complète est offerte avec les appareils de chronométrage Swiss
Timing (Quantum, console Saturn ou ARES) pour les sports comme le water-polo, la
natation et le plongeon.
L'affichage est disponible en deux versions – le Master (maître) et le Slave (esclave).
Le premier a une alimentation électrique intégrée et son propre driver permettant de
contrôler jusqu'à 3 lignes Slave.
Chaque digit de 24cm de haut est composé de 150 LEDs blanches pour un contraste
optimal et un affichage parfaitement lisible jusqu'à 150 mètres. D'ailleurs la luminosité
des LEDs est automatiquement adaptée avec un senseur de lumière intégré.
Le boîtier compact en aluminium avec une peinture acrylique garantit la meilleure
protection contre les éléments. Le tableau a été conçu pour être monté contre un mur
ou entre deux poteaux. Le câblage inter-lignes est interne. L'accès pour le câblage se
fait par la face avant.
