The appliance and its power cord have to kept away from chil-
dren under the age of 8.
36. Keep the appliance and the power cord away from children and
pets.
37. Children must be supervised, so that they do not play with the
citrus juicer.

38. Always wait for the juicing cone to stop rotating before dis-
connecting the power plug, otherwise the appliance might be
damaged.
39. Do not place anything on the appliance while it is in use or in
storage.
40. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully
switched off.
41. The appliance has to be cleaned after every use. Please refer to
the notes given in the section "Cleaning and Care" on page
71 of this manual.
42. Only clean the appliance chassis with a dry or slightly moist
cloth. Never use aggressive, abrasive or acidic detergents for
cleaning.
43. When lifting or moving the appliance, always hold the citrus
juicer by its base. Always disconnect the power plug first and
empty out the pulp filter / the juice collector. Always move the
appliance very carefully and do not shake or throw it, it might
be damaged.
44. During use, keep hands, fingers, hair, clothing, jewelry or
kitchen tools well away from the juicing cone and never reach
in. Risk of injury!
45. Always be very careful while juicing – never bring fingers,
hands, hair, clothing, jewelry or kitchen tools near the rotating
and moving parts.

46. Also keep your fingers and hands away from the hinge of the
lever press arm when the appliance is in use or being shifted.
47. When the appliance has been in use for 5 – 6 minutes, you
should take a break for at least 10 minutes in any case to pre-
vent the motor from overheating.
48. Should you notice a strange smell or sound, pull the plug. Do
not start using the appliance again before having its function-
ality and safety checked by Solis or a service centre authorised
by Solis.
49. Caution: When cleaning or removing resp. installing parts,
the appliance has to be at a complete standstill and be discon-
nected from the power. Otherwise, there is the risk of injury.
