Operation

Hold function (key lock)

Slide the HOLD control, located on
the side of the device, upwards to
lock all the buttons. It is not possible
to play or record messages when
the Hold function is activated. The
last recording number appears in the
display.
To unlock the button functions again, slide the HOLD control downwards.

Managing recordings (defining a memory file)

The device is provided with 2 files, named F1 and F2, in which to store re-
cordings. Up to 99 recordings can be stored in each file.
Therefore, a maximum of 198 recordings can be stored.
File F1 is selected by default.
Proceed as follows to select
another file: Activate Standby mode
and press the FILE button repeatedly
to switch between the two files F1
and F2. The last file indicated in

the display is the one selected.

Recording

Before beginning to make a re-
cording, set the recording quality
and memory file (see above).
Activate Standby mode and press
the red REC/STOP button to start
the recording.
RECORD" and the current recording number appear in the display.
Speak your message at a normal volume to record it. While doing so, main-
tain a distance of 15 to 20 cm to the integrated microphone.
To end the recording, press the red REC/STOP button again.
