5 Operation

Switching on (Standby mode)

In order to set the device to
Standby mode, press the Play/Stop

button once.
The current recording number ap-
pears in the display.

Switching off

Press and hold the Play/Stop but-

ton for a little over 2 seconds
until the display goes out. The de-
vice switches off automatically if it
is in Standby mode and no button
is pressed for a period of 1 minute.

Recording quality

There are two different recording qualities available for selection to record the
voice messages.
Recording mode
HP (High Play)
LP (Long Play)
Activate Standby mode and press
Œ
the button repeatedly to switch
between the recording modes HP
and LP. The last recording mode
indicated in the display is the one
activated.
Note: The default setting is for best possible recording quality (HP).
