HOPPER SUPPORT ROD INSTALLATION

1.
When it is required to work under the hopper, lift it
completely by pushing and holding the distributor lever
(12, Fig. B - 31, Fig. C), then install the support rods (4,
Fig. F).

AFTER USING THE MACHINE

When the working cycle is completed, the machine must be
stored as follows:
1.
The main broom must be lifted (see Using The Machine
paragraph).
2.
The side broom must be lifted (see Using The Machine
paragraph).
3.
The suction fan must be turned off (see Using The
Machine paragraph).
4.
The throttle lever must be turned to "MIN".
5.
The hopper must be lowered (see Using The Machine
paragraph).
6.
The engine must be off (see Diesel Engine Start and
Stop paragraph).
7.
The headlights must be turned off.
8.
The parking brake must be engaged.

TOWING THE MACHINE

To tow the machine, proceed as follows.
1.
If possible, empty the hopper (2, Fig. F). If the hopper
contains a small quantity of waste, it is not necessary to
empty it.
2.
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
3.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig.
B-C) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove
it.
4.
Open the engine hood (5, Fig. F) and fasten it with the
support rod (6, Fig. F).
5.
Loosen the by-pass screw (1, Fig. G) of the drive system
pump (32, Fig. E) two turns, to set the machine to
"neutral".
6.
Tow the machine by fastening it on the appointed
anchors, which are marked by appropriate labels (55, 56,
Fig. F - 57, Fig. E).

TRANSPORTING BY TRAILER

To transport the machine by trailer, use the anchors and follow
the procedures shown below.
WARNING!
Machine anchorage must be performed by
qualifi ed personnel.
Available anchors
1.
The machine is equipped with the following anchors:
No. 2 side anchors (55, Fig. F)
No. 2 rear anchors (56, Fig. F)
NOTE
The anchors are marked by appropriate labels.
Anchorage
2.
To anchor the machine in case of transport by trailer,
proceed as follows:
Set the machine to transport mode (see the
procedure in the relevant paragraph).
Remove the ignition key (17, Fig. B-C).
Engage the parking brake (21, Fig. B-C).
Close all lids, hoods, etc.
Fasten the machine on the appointed anchors (55,
56, Fig. F) with suitable bands.

MACHINE STORAGE

If the machine is not going to be used for more than 30 days,
proceed as follows:
1.
Prepare the machine, as shown in After Using the
Machine paragraph.
2.
Store the machine indoor, in a clean and dry place,
protected from bad weather conditions and with the
following values:
Temperature: +1°C to +50°C
Humidity: maximum 95%
1.
Disconnect the negative connector from the battery (43,
Fig. F).
2.
Handle the diesel engine as shown in the relevant
Manual.

FIRST PERIOD OF USE

After the fi rst period of use (fi rst 8 hours) it is necessary to
perform the following procedures:
1.
Check the fastening and connecting elements for proper
tightening. Check the visible parts for integrity and leaks.
2.
After the fi rst 50 working hours, perform checks and
replacements shown in the Scheduled Maintenance
Table.
