KEMPER AirWatch operating instructions - EN
7.4 AirWatch installation
As the AirWatch measurement system is sensitive to changes of the installation site,
the measured result can be affected by factors such as perhaps air movements at
the point of use or by doors and windows being constantly opened and closed at the
place of use.
Generally, this is not serious, but you should ensure that after the AirWatch is
installed, its position is not constantly changed.
Repositioning the AirWatch usually also causes a change to the measured results.
7.4.1 Height
When choosing the height, you should always remember that this should perhaps be
in the vicinity of the breathing range. In conjunction with a KEMPER CleanAirTower,
the height should always be inside the area between suction and blowing.
7.4.2 Installation near a wall
In principle, you should avoid installing AirWatch near a wall, unless it is impossible
to anything different for certain reasons.
Positioning near a wall can sometimes lead to an air jam shortly in front of the wall. In
this case, the measured result would potentially be incorrect.
7.4.3 Monitoring a room/an area
If the AirWatch is used to monitor a large room/a large area, we recommend that it be
installed perhaps in the center of this area/room.
This position is also outstandingly suitable for controlling KEMPER filter units.
