SANDWICH MAKER
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be
integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this
appliance. We are not liable for damage caused during transportation, improper use, voltage fl uctuation or any
change or modifi cation of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a  risk of fi re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1.
Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that
the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2.
Do not use the sandwich maker if it is damaged in any way or if its power cord is damaged. All repairs
including cord replacements shall be performed by a professional service centre! Do not remove protective
covers of the appliance, risk of electric shock!
3.
Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric

shock.
4.
Do not leave the sandwich maker running unattended.
5.
Leaving the sandwich maker cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the
cord from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by
yanking the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
6.
Do not use the sandwich maker outdoors or in moist environments. Do not touch the cord or sandwich
maker with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
7.
Close supervision is necessary for operating the sandwich maker near children!
8.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges.
9.
The temperature of surfaces near the operating appliance can be hotter than usual. Place the sandwich
maker out of reach of other objects to ensure suffi cient air circulation needed for its proper operation.
10. Do not touch the grilling plates during or after use or hot parts of the baked product, until is cools off . You
can touch only the handle to avoid being burned.
11. The grilling plates have a non-stick surface making them easy to clean. Do not use metal or hard objects
or tools to clean inner/outer parts of the appliance and for handling the bread, to prevent from damaging
the surfaces of grilling plates.
12. Do not rinse the grilling plates under running water or immerse them into water.
13. Keep the sandwich maker away from hot surfaces and sources of heat (for example, hot plates).
14. Use the appliance only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. The manufacturer is not
liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
15. Do not connect the appliance to electrical outlets with remote switch or remotely controlled timer.
16. This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas, including:
- kitchenette in shops, offi ces and other workplaces
- appliances used in agriculture
- appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other accommodations
- appliances used in Bed&Breakfast accommodations
17. This appliance can be used by children ages 8 and older and by the physically and mentally impaired or
by individuals with insuffi cient experience and knowledge, if supervised or trained to use the appliance in
a safe manner and understand potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance operations performed by the user shall not be carried out by children, if they are not older
than 8 years and under supervision. Children under the age of 8 shall keep away from the appliance and
its power supply.
