Inserting/changing batteries

For use you require 3 batteries of LR/R03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included). The battery
compartment is located on the underside of the device.
1. Press the locking tab slightly towards the centre of the scale and remove the battery
compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries as indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment. Pay
attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover. The locking tab must snap securely into
place.
Notes on changing the battery:
‚ The batteries need to be changed when
the display.
‚ Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical data".
‚ Always change all batteries at the same time.
‚ Dispose of old batteries in an environmentally appropriate way
(see "Disposal").

Operation

Weighing

1. Place the scale on an even, firm and dry surface. Carefully position the scale in order
to avoid hard shocks to the sensors/feet and therefore any damage.
2. Place the bowl on the weighing surface.
3. Turn the scale on by pressing the On | Off zero button.
4. Wait a moment until "0" appears on the display.
5. Choose the desired unit of measurement by repeatedly touching unit.
The options are "g" (gramme), "lboz" (pound), "ml" (millilitre) and "fl.oz. " (fluid ounce).
Pay attention to the indication on the display.
Choose "ml" or "fl.oz" when you want to weigh liquids.
6. Place the item(s) to be weighed in the bowl.
7. Read the measured weight.
