3.2
Installation
The fan can be placed either on the floor or on a frame.
For mounting on a frame the dimensions and the weight
of the fan should be taken into consideration.
•
Place the fan in such a way, that it remains easy
accessible for maintenance works.
•
Subsequently connect the ductwork. Make sure that
the ductwork is supported well and that the flexible
adapters do not touch any other part of the
installation.
•
Finally check that the complete extraction system is
airtight.
3.3
Mounting the mains cord
.
WARNING
The mains cord must be mounted in accordance
with local regulations. This is strictly reserved to
skilled and authorised service engineers.
3.4
Electric connection
•
Connect the motor as indicated on the motor plate
(star or delta).
•
Subsequently follow the instructions on the
connection box of the motor.
The fan can be connected to the mains using a thermal
relay or a frequency controller.
If the fan is connected to a frequency controller, this
must be done in accordance with the corresponding
manual. Set the current limit in conformance with the
specifications indicated on the type plate of the
electromotor.
After connection always check the direction of rotation of
the motor. For this purpose an arrow has been placed on
the extraction fan indicating the prescribed direction of
rotation.
.
WARNING
Be careful with moving parts. Keep away from
the suction and/or outlet opening.
