JBL ProSilent luchtpompen baseren op een geheel nieuw bouwprincipe, waarbij gebruik wordt
gemaakt van een geluidsdemper, en lopen extreem rustig. JBL ProSilent luchtpompen zijn daarom
praktisch onhoorbaar. Als gevolg van de precieze fabricage en het gebruik van hoogwaardige
materialen bereiken de pompen een zeer lange gebruiksduur. De modellen S200 en S500 zijn van
een nieuw type stromingsregelaar (US patent) voorzien, waarmee de benodigde hoeveelheid lucht
nauwkeurig kan worden ingesteld. Alle onderdelen (membraan enz.) kunnen zo nodig gemakkelijk
worden vervangen.
Ingebruikname
1. Plaats de JBL ProSilent luchtpomp op een droge, stofvrije plaats bij voorkeur boven het waterop-
pervlak ligt, zodat het water bij stroomuitval niet in het toestel terug kan lopen.
2. Als het toestel beneden het wateroppervlak worden opgesteld, dan verdient het aanbeveling om
een JBL ProSilent terugslagventiel of de luchtslang in een 15 cm grote lus boven het wateroppervlak
aan te brengen.
3. Vervolgens eventuele luchtbedreven artikelen (bv. beluchtingsapparatuur) installeren en het toestel
op het elektrische stroomnet aansluiten. Regel de vereiste hoeveelheid lucht door middel van de
draairegelaar (alleen bij model S200 en S500).
Onderhoud
Luchtfilter: De viltring aan de onderzijde van het toestel afhankelijk van de vervuilingsgraad regel-
matig verwisselen.
Onderhoud buitenkant: Mogelijke verontreinigingen aan de buitenzijde van het huis met een
vochtige doek verwijderen. Het toestel niet onder water dompelen!
Voorkomen van vermogensverlies: Luchtstenen en andere luchtbedreven artikelen raken na verloop
van tijd verstopt door kalkaanslag enz. Om dit te voorkomen, luchtstenen en dergelijke van tijd tot tijd
controleren en zo nodig vervangen. Controleer of de doorvoeropeningen van de overige luchtbedreven
artikelen open zijn en maak deze zo nodig schoon.
Vervangen van de membraan: Als het vermogen afneemt hoewel eventuele luchtstenen e.d. niet
verstopt zijn, kan de membraan defect zijn. Membranen en andere slijtonderdelen zijn als complete
onderdelenset in de handel verkrijgbaar. Het is raadzaam om altijd alle onderdelen uit de set tegelijk
te vervangen om er zeker van te zijn dat het apparaat weer optimaal werkt.
Hiertoe de vier schroeven aan de onderzijde van het toestel eruit schroeven en het deksel van het
toestel verwijderen. Schroef A losschroeven en de gehele pompkop met de membraan eruit tillen.
Schroef B losschroeven en met behulp van het gereedschap uit de set membraan, ventielen enz.
verwisselen. Daarna in omgekeerde volgorde monteren.
Veiligheidsaanwijzingen
1. Controleer of de netspanning op het typeplaatje overeenkomt met de spanning van uw elektriciteitsnet.
2. Nooit de stekker met natte handen en nooit aan de kabel uit het stopcontact trekken.
3. Het apparaat nooit aan de kabel dragen.
4. Voordat u met onderhoudswerkzaamheden in en aan het aquarium begint altijd eerst alle elektrische
apparaten van het stroomnet halen.
5. Het apparaat mag voor geen andere dan de in de gebruiksinformatie genoemde doeleinden worden
gebruikt.
6. Het apparaat nooit onderdompelen!
7. Het apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor gebruik binnenshuis.
8. Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt als de kabel, de stekker of de behuizing beschadigd is.
9. Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat openmaakt!
10. Bij onderhoudswerkzaamheden of bij niet-gebruik altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken.
11. Als de voedingskabel is beschadigd, moet deze door een deskundige elektricien worden vervangen!
12. Het apparaat mag alleen door volwassenen worden aangesloten.
13. Het apparaat is van tijd tot tijd een kleine onderhoudsbeurt nodig (zie gebruiksaanwijzing punt 9).
Garantie
JBL geeft u garantie op dit apparaat gedurende 12 maanden na aankoop. De garantie wordt gegeven
voor materiaal- en fabricagefouten. Ondoelmatig gebruik, waterschade, vervuiling en de hieruit
voortvloeiende schade zijn van de garantie uitgesloten. De membraan en andere slijtonderdelen vallen
buiten de garantie.
