1. Safety notices

For your own protection:
Read this manual, keep it in a safe place and pass it on along with the
product, if necessary. Pay attention to and follow the safety notices.
When using the eHandle AutoLock for windows, we recommend that
you use gears with a malfunction lock.
Caution!
• The eHandle AutoLock for windows is only suitable for use in dry,
indoor spaces. The electronics in the window handle rosette must
not come into direct contact with water.
• If the product is transported from a cold to a warm environment,
wait a few hours before putting the product into operation to avoid
any potential damage as a result of condensed water.
Warning!
• Converting and/or modifying the eHandle AutoLock for windows
without authorisation is not permitted as this would undermine
the functional reliability of the product and invalidate the warranty.
• Make sure you install the product correctly in accordance with
this manual or instruct a specialist to do so.

2. Intended use

The eHandle AutoLock for windows is intended for use on standard
turn-and-tilt windows.
Any other use than that described here is not in accordance with the
device's intended use and may result in injury and damage to property.
