Congratulations!
You have decide to buy a durable, high-quality solar
pond pump MADE IN GERMANY.
Your Solar Island is assembled ready for use.
Important!
You need only place the Solar Island in water.
Before you use the Solar Island for the first time,
dip it under the water to clear the air out of the
pump.
The pump will start to work as soon as the sun
shines on the solar cells.
The pump is connected directly to the solar module,
i.e. no energy is stored. In cloudy weather and in
dark conditions the energy supply will be insufficient
to operate the 3V d.c. pump. Make sure that the
solar cells do not float in the shade of trees or shrubs
or the pump will not function correctly. Your Solar
Island can be used with or without a nozzle.

It is also important to note the
following points:
Do not allow the pump to freeze in the water!
We recommend storing the Solar Island in a
dry place throughout the winter.
Never use the Solar Island in water where
people swim.
The Solar Island is not a children's toy!
Cleaning the filter:
Remove the filter cover from the bottom of the float.
You can now wash it out in warm flowing water.
Please note:
The Solar Island works best only in the summer
months from May to August. Performance
deteriorates in the autumn and winter because
the sunlight strikes the horizontal module at too
shallow an angle.
