1 Safety notices
1.4 Regarding the batteries
The appliance contains rechargeable nickel-
cadmium batteries.

Do not throw the batteries into fire or
expose them to high temperatures. Danger of
explosion!

Misuse can cause fluid leaks from the
battery. This can cause skin irritations. Avoid
any contact with the fluid. If fluid gets onto
your skin, wash it away with lots of water. If
the fluid comes into contact with your eyes,
immediately rinse them with water for 10
minutes and consult a doctor.

If it becomes necessary to replace the
batteries, contact a specialist dealer or

1.6 Re: Appropriate Use
Use the rechargeable sonic sweeper only in
the house for sweeping normally dirty floors
and carpets. Any other use is considered
inappropriate and is prohibited.
It is especially forbidden:

To sweep:
- Hair, fingers and other parts of the body.
They can be pulled in and injured.
- Hot ash, burning cigarettes or matches.
This could cause a fire.
- Water and other liquids. Moisture inside
the appliance can cause a short-circuit.
- Toner (for laser
machines, etc.). There is danger of fire or
explosion.
- Long carpet fringes, cables, cords,
curtains and other objects which can be
pulled in and thereby destroy the brush
motor.

1.7 If the appliance is defective
