ZERO (TP) KEY it allows the user to zeroize the weight if the displayed value is lower than 4% the maximum
weight that can be loaded on the dynamometer.
The difference using the key TARE is in that this zero-setting is stored in a permanent way in the instrument.
ALL DATA ARE STORED IN A MEMORY THAT IS ERASABLE VIA SOFTWARE ONLY, AND REMAIN UNCHANGED
EVEN AFTER POWER-OFF.
IF THE ON/OFF PUSH-BUTTON IS NOT WORKING WORK AND/OR THE DISPLAY UNIT IS OFF OR THE BATTERY
LEVEL INDICATION IS BLINKING, IT MEANS THAT THE INSTRUMENT'S BATTERIES NEED REPLACEMENT.
PEAK AND HOLD FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
These two functions are alternative and can be both inhibited.
•
Peak function: (PEAK display) it is used on loading to hold the maximum reached value stored and displayed
(tensile tests, material breaking tests, etc).
•
Peak zeroizing: the displayed peak value is set to zero by pressing the tare key or the remote control push-
button (text CLEAR).
•
Hold function: (HOLD display) it is used, when the weight is loaded and the stable weight status is reached, to
hold the weight value in memory and on display even in the presence of new oscillations due to movements.
•
Hold zeroizing: the displayed hold value is set to zero by pressing the tare key or the remote control push-
button or it will automatically zeroize on its return to zero, that is on discharging the dynamometer (text
CLEAR).
WARNING:
THE HOLD AND PEAK FUNCTIONS ARE NOT ENABLED WITHIN THE MINIMUM WEIGHING.
SELECTING PEAK AND HOLD FUNCTIONS
•
These functions are set through setting parameter no. 5 (peak and hold functions).
•
The parameter allows for enabling one of the two functions or none.
•
The selection made with setting parameter no. 5 does not imply the automatic enabling of the function on the
dynamometer but simply indicates which function is meant to be used afterwards.
•
To enabled the selected function, you need to press the MODE key and the display unit will display, for a few
seconds, the text P ON or H ON
•
To inhibit the parameter, you need to press MODE once again and the display unit will display P OFF or H OFF
USER'S FUNCTIONS
•
Digital filter: if the function is enabled, an oversized weight-stabilizing filter is added.
•
Autozero at switching on: if the function is enabled, any time the instrument is turned on, it reaches the zero
condition and cancels small zero differences.
This function can be used to zeroize chains, accessories and the like.
Be careful, since it annuls the entire weight that is displayed on powering on the unit, and it is not advisable to
use it when the automatic power-off function is enabled.
•
Instrumental zero: it allows to zeroize the dynamometer at any time without damaging the weight
calibration. Unlike the zero performed by means of the Tare key or the remote control, this zero remains in
memory even after the unit is powered off.
•
Power-off: if the function is enabled and the dynamometer is unused, for a set time and with a stable weight,
the unit is automatically switched off.
•
Function: Enabling/inhibiting the Peak or Hold functions
•
Rate: To set the display update frequency (This setting can vary the battery life).
•
Codes: In this section, the user can operate advanced settings.
