CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE.
To ensure the correct operation of your stove, the following cleaning and maintenance operations are
necessary at the indicated frequency. The stove must always be cold.
The deterioration of the stove parts by a lack of cleaning involves the loss of the two-year warranty offered
by ECOFOREST (see warranty section).
5.1.
Ash in the fireplace.
When opening the door, you reach the burn pot where combustion takes place; hoover it and remove it
(make sure you'll put it back properly) in order to clean all holes; make sure they're clean and hoover the
support of the burn pot as well. In the London model, the user must only remove the pot for cleaning when
the provisions set forth in section 5.5. are met.
5.2.
Fireplace door.
Clean the glass with a towel, using a liquid for glass cleaning, always when cold.
Check locking system periodically, adjusting it as necessary to avoid loss of the hermetic seal in the
combustion chamber.
5.3.
Ash box.
In order to access the ash box, it is necessary to open the stove's glass door in all models included in this
manual (except for ECO III and ECO III insert). Therefore, we shall only use ECO III as an illustration. In the
aforementioned models, the user has to remove the stove's pot and security grid to gain access to the ash
box.
