Important safety rules
The electric knife must only be connected to 230V AC single phase electrical mains.
Always unplug the power cord in the following cases: before cleaning the knife, in the
event of malfunctions and after use.
Never pull on the power cord to unplug the appliance. Pull directly on the plug.
Never submerge the appliance under water and do not expose it to rain or humidity. If the
appliance falls into water, unplug it from the electrical mains before removing it from the
water. Have the appliance checked by an authorised service centre before reuse.
Never use the appliance with wet hands. Do not use the knife when standing on a wet
floor. Do not use the electrical knife if wet or damp.
Keep the electrical knife away from children.
Do not leave the electrical knife unattended when ready for use.
Always make sure the electrical knife is located or installed in a safe place before use.
The electrical knife must always be used with the gyros and collection tray, unless the size
or shape of food are incompatible with these. Do not use the electrical knife to slice bones
or frozen food.
In the event of malfunctions, do not use the electrical knife for any reason. Take the
appliance to an authorised service centre or other suitably qualified repair centre.
If the event of power cord malfunctions, it must be repaired by the manufacturer, its
service centre or a suitably qualified repair centre.
Only use the electrical knife with the supplied accessories.
The manufacturer is liable and the warranty does not cover damages due to improper or
incorrect electrical knife use.
Electrical knife use
Set cutting thickness. Thickness can be set between 0 and 3 mm. Set required cutting
thickness using the adjustment knob (figure N°9). For safety reasons, the blade is covered
with thickness is set to "0".
Firmly grip the knife handle and place your index finger on the switch. Press the switch to
turn on the electrical knife. The blade starts. Push the switch again to turn off the
appliance. The blade stops. Wait until the blade had fully stopped.
Delicately rest the electrical knife against food. Turn on the switch and, delicately pressing
the knife against the food to be sliced, move the appliance downwards following blade
direction. Do not use the appliance continuously for more than 10 minutes.
