WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
The towel warmer is safe only if installed by qualified personnel,
adopted in accordance with intended use and complying with
maintenance instructions. Parts must be replaced by qualified
personnel in accordance with current regulations and using materials
with the same electrical, thermal and mechanical characteristics.
Prior to installation, inspect the appliance for any damage. Contact
your retailer in the case of defects or doubts. Faulty resistors and
thermostats must be replaced immediately after disconnecting the
towel rail from the mains to protect against electric shock and to
reduce the risk of burns. Before reclosing the switch, check that
the resistor is correctly inserted and that its power rating does not
exceed the value indicated on the product label. In any case, it is
advisable to contact Devon&Devon for replacement of the resistor
due to the presence of exchanger fluid inside the towel warmer.
Packing materials (boxes, plastic bags, polystyrene fillers) may
constitute a hazard (risk of suffocation, abrasion, etc.) and must not
be left within reach of children. Appliance enclosure is not shaped
and decorated in such a way that the product is likely to be treated
as a toy by children. The manufacturer declines any responsibility
for installation not complying with current regulations and for
assembly and maintenance not in accordance with these warnings
and precautions and with the instructions for use.
A copy of these instructions must be furnished to the maintenance
engineer.
