9. Operating the Model

a) Setting the Centre of Gravity
The centre of gravity is at approx. 260 mm (figure 13) measured from the fuselage
tip. If required, adjust the centre of gravity with self-adhesive trimming weights for
the first attempts at flight.
This may prevent time-consuming unnecessary conversion/moving of the battery
and/or receiver.
After finding the best centre of gravity by flight tests, you will still be bale to determine
the matching placement of individual components to save trimming weights.
b) Setting the Rudder Deflections
When the construction is performed correctly and the transmitter set, the rudders should have the following deflection values (measured at the rear edge):
Aileron
8 - 12 mm upwards
Elevator
20 - 25 mm upwards
Side rudder
25 - 30 mm to the left
Attention!
The indicated values show the lower and the upper thresholds of the rudder deflections. Adjust the deflections individually to suit your personal
preferences.
8 - 12 mm downwards
20 - 25 mm downwards
25 - 30 mm to the right
