3.4.2
Adjusting the mitre angle
• Measure with a measuring device (b)
at 45° according to the scale the an-
gle.
• For this loosen the locking lever (13),
tilt the aggregate to the 45° position
and lock it with the lever again.
• Put the measuring device (b) to the
saw blade on the work piece support.
When the angle is not 45° or 135°
(see Fig. 8) you have to adjust the
saw aggregate with screw (21) and
lock screw (22) till the angle is cor-
rect.
3.1
Adjusting the laser cut-
ting line
The laser can be turned on by the switch
(a) (Fig. 12). The laser shows the cutting
line on the work piece. To guarantee that
it matches with the true cutting line you
have to control it.
• The basic requirement is the exact ad-
justment of the fence and the mitre.
• Take a piece of wood and put it against
the fence.
• Fix it with the work piece binder (before
every cutting operation!).
• Adjust the deepness limitation screw
and scarify the piece of wood.
• Check the cutting line against the laser
line.
• If the laser line differs a bit you will be
able to adjust the laser by loosening it.
4 OPERATION
4.1
Adjusting the angle
4.1.1
Mitre cut horizontal
Loosen the hand screw (10), now you
can turn the saw aggregate. At the de-
sired angle you have to lock the aggre-
gate again.
4.1.2
Mitre cut vertical
Loosen the lock lever (13), turn the ag-
gregate to the desired angle and lock it
again. Take care that the saw blade does
not touch the plate in the lowest position
before you begin to operate.
4.2
Starting
• Connect the machine with the power
supply.
• Ensure that the safety instructions have
been read, understood and considered.
• Operate the accelerator and wait till the
machine has reached its maximum en-
gine speed.
• Push the safety lever for the saw blade
cover with the right forefinger to the
left side.
4.3
Stopping
• When you let go of the accelerator (3)
the engine stops and the saw blade
comes to a standstill.
4.4
Chop cuts
• Chop cuts are suitable for cutting small
work pieces to length.
• For chop cuts you have to lock the pull-
ing equipment with the lock knob (13)
so that the saw aggregate can't slide
during operation.
• Lock the work piece, do the cut, lift the
saw aggregate, let go of the accelera-
tor, wait till the saw blade stands. Only
now you are allowed to remove the
work piece.
4.5
Pit cuts
• They are suitable for long cuts.
• Lock the work piece.
• Pull the saw aggregate to you.
• Start the machine.
• Lower the saw aggregate and cut into
the work piece slowly.
• Cut the work piece slowly. Push the
saw aggregate backwards.
• Advantage: When the material splinters
then not into the direction where the
operator stands.
