2. Safety Instructions
Before using the PPE breathing protection equipment, every user is
obliged to check the capacity of the air supply system, possibly also in
terms of the impact on other users of the system.
The code "H" indicates that the compressed air feed tube is heat-resist-
ant. The code "S" indicates that the compressed air feed tube is antistatic.
Before operation, the user must proceed with a risk assessment regarding
possible harmful components in the workplace, e.g. nitrogen.
■ Check the functions and check the air warmer / cooler for leaks with the
breathing protection hood connected, every time before it is used.
■ Replace defective air warmer / cooler.
■ Send defective air warmer / cooler to SATA for repairs.
■ Do not change the air warmer / cooler.
3. Intended Use
The air warmer / cooler is an optional addition to the breathing protection
apparatus and is used to warm / cool the breathing air.
If the air warmer / cooler is used in combination with an air regulator to-
gether with activated charcoal filter, the air warmer contained in it should
be removed. The use of two air warmers is not intended.
The air warmer should only be operated in a line temperature range of
+5°C - +35°C. The air cooler should only be operated in a line tempera-
ture range of +20°C - +60°C.
4. Description
The air warmer / cooler consists of the main parts:
