TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The compressor will
not stop.
The compressor will
not start.

Probable cause
The pressure relief valve is
defective – the safety valve
opens.
Not supplied with power.
Incorrect or inadequate
power supply.
Defective seals or
connections.
Action
Contact an authorised service centre.
Check the main voltage and that the power
switch is switched on.
• Check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the rated voltage on the
type plate.
• Check that the extension cord is not too
long or too thin.
• Check that the plug is properly plugged
in and that no fuses have tripped, and
also that the ambient temperature is not
too low (should be at least 0°C).
• Check the tightness of all air connections
with soapy water (do not use water near
electrical connections).
• A hissing noise may be heard from the
pressure switch when filling the air tank.
This is completely normal and stops
when the pressure has risen to about 1.5
bar.
• Check that the drain valve (14) is closed.
