■ Unscrew the plastic nut [7-7].
■ Remove the filter cartridge of the fine filter [7-5] / activated charcoal
filter [7-16].
■ Clean threaded rod [7-2].
Install filter cartridge
■ Coat the fastening thread of the threaded rod [7-2] with acid-free
grease.
■ Insert O-ring [7-4] in filter cartridge [7-5] / [7-16].
■ Insert filter cartridge and screw tight with plastic nut [7-7].
■ Fit and tighten the filter bushing [7-8] using the special tool.
■ Close bleeder valve [4-8].
Notice!
The main air valve must be opened slowly. If it is opened too fast, wa-
ter from the tank can be entrained with the influx of air and land in the
breathing air pipe.
■ Open the main air valve [4-22] slowly.
Activate SATAfilter timer
Notice!
The filter cartridge for the fine filter must be replaced six months after
being used for the first time, and after three months for the activated
charcoal filter. The SATA filter timer [7-11] / [7-12] shows the remaining
time [7-9] / [7-14].
■ Insert SATA filter timer [7-11]/[7-12] for fine filter / activated charcoal
filter in the space
provided in the filter bushings [7-8].
■ Press the activation point [7-10] / [7-13]. A sound (clicking noise) con-
firms successful activation.
13.3. Dismantle the pressure regulator valve
The pressure regulator valve [4-2] is used to adjust the required working
pressure. If air escapes from the bleeder hole on the back or if it is not
possible to adjust the pressure correctly, the pressure regulator valve
must be dismantled, cleaned and greased; if necessary, replace the mem-
brane and pressure control valve rod.
