Troubleshooting

Should the MBT1USB not work as described in this document, please check the list
of possible error causes below for a solution:
• While connecting the MBT1USB to a PC, the operating system shows a
warning message of an unknown USB device.
o Disconnect the USB cable, wait 5 seconds and connect the cable again.
o If the error remains, repeat the above measure and connect the
MBT1USB to another USB connector of your PC or, if possible, to
another PC or notebook.
o Disconnect the USB cable of the MBT1USB and restart your PC.
o If the USB driver of the MBT1USB is not correctly installed on your PC
system (e.g. because you have interrupted the driver installation the
first time), you have to de-install the MBT1USB from the device
manager of Windows (search under COM and LPT or USB while the
MBT1USB is connected). Afterwards, disconnect the MBT1USB, wait 5
seconds and reconnect it again. The device installation wizard should
show up and you should now install the MBT1USB USB driver
correctly.
• The MBT1USB is connected to the USB interface of the Windows PC but it is
not possible to read it.
o Try the same procedure as described above.

Care and Maintenance

• Clean the device only with a soft cloth, moistened with mild soapy water. Do
not let water enter the device.
• Never use strong detergents or hard brushes.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, and protect it from intense dust
and moisture.
