These assembly instructions describe how to fit the BASE-STATION 1 NG
roof mounting. The roof mounting is an accessory for the following portable
systems:
- LIFE-BASE 1 NG
- LIFE-BASE 1 NG XL
- LIFE-BASE 1 NG XS
Read the instructions for use for these portable systems (WM 67060), they
constitute part of these assembly instructions.
The parts required to attach the roof mounting to the roof are included in
the scope of supply.

Safety information

Warning!
• Only the LIFE-BASE 1 NG/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XL/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XS
portable system may be suspended from the roof mounting. The
weight and dimensions of this portable
system are exactly matched to the roof mounting. Other portable
systems may not be used.
• Suspending third-party products or other makes of adapter is not
permitted as this does not comply with the use in accordance with
purpose of this roof mounting. Refer to the instructions for use of
the LIFE-BASE 1 NG/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XL/LIFE-BASE 1 NG XS
portable system.
Note:
• The surface for attachment must be sufficiently strong to hold the
roof mounting and the portable system securely in accordance with
EN 1789 (ambulances).
• The charger interface connection (optional) to the 12 V on board
electricity supply must be fused with an 8 A fuse.
• The roof mounting has been tested exclusively with M5 mounting
screws to EN ISO 4762 (strength 8.8). If other screws are used,
ensure that they are of equivalent or greater strength.
• The fitter is responsible for the fitting of the roof mounting.
