Remark
This installation guide is intended for trained specialised personnel. For
this reason no basic working steps are included.
The tamper-evident seal on the flow sensor must not be broken!
A damaged seal will result in immediate invalidation of the fac-
tory warranty and verification.
Respect the right choice of the model, the nominal load (q
ature and the pressure area.
Observe the instructions for the use of flow sensors!
The regulations and the instructions on the use of energy meters must be
observed! The meter installation is only to be performed by an installator
and electrical contractor using personnel trained in the installation of heat
meter and use of electrical equipment and familiar with the Low Voltage
Directive.
Medium: Water without additives or according to the requirements of the
AGFW worksheet FW510.
If water additives are used (e.g. corrosion protection), the user must
make sure that the corrosion resistance is adequate.
The temperature range depends on variant and nominal size.
Further details about the variants and the applicable standard EN1434 can
be found in the data sheet. These must be observed without fail.

Transport and storage
ƒ
Water measuring devices are precision instruments. Protect against
impacts and shocks!
ƒ
Ensure that the meters are stored in a frost-free place.
ƒ
If a risk of frost exists, empty the system and, if necessary, remove
the flow sensor.

Flow meter have no cooling approval. When used as cooling
meters, the flow sensor including the register must be com-
pletely isolated.
