5 Settings via OSD Menu
The camera settings can be changed by means
of an OSD menu which is operated via PTZ re-
mote control from the video recorder . Remote
control is made by means of the COC protocol
(COAX) via the video cable . As an alternative,
the OSD menu can be operated by means of a
control panel via the RS-485 interface; in case
of the video signal formats HD-CVI and CVBS,
this is the only way to operate the OSD menu .
When the power supply is switched on or
when the camera is restarted, the camera will
make a reference move and insert information
with regard to the camera type and the interface
settings into the image, e . g .:

To show the OSD menu, call up "Preset 95" at
the video recorder or at the control panel . As
an alternative, call up "Preset 9" twice (with-
in 3 seconds) while the start-up information is
inserted in the image to show the OSD menu .

Use the control commands for vertical move-
ments to select a menu item . The currently
selected line is preceded by "–" . Menu items fol-
lowed by "–" include submenus . Use the control
command for movements to the right (or the
command "IRIS+") to call up a submenu or to
activate a function . To change a setting, call up
the selected menu item with . The line will be
preceded by "&"; the setting can be changed by
means of .To confirm the changed setting, use
(or "IRIS +"); to reject it, use (or "IRIS −") .

5.1 Changing the camera ID/baud rate
If multiple cameras are used, the cameras re-
quire individual addresses . All cameras are fac-
tory-set to the camera ID "1" . To change the ID
of a camera, first connect only the camera to a
control panel / recorder and then use one of the
following two methods .
5.1.1
Fast setting ID 1–16
1) Restart the camera:
At the control panel/recorder, call up the
command "Preset 94" or the menu item

up – depending on the ID desired – one of
the following preset commands twice (within
3 seconds):
