The following information will help you to make the necessary revision and to carry out the required procedures to
follow the recommendations of the normal maintenance of your motor hoes.
MOTOR OIL
ATTENTION: The machine is supplied without oil. Fill the tank before starting it up.
1.
Clean oil dipstick.
2.
Put the dipstick into the oil filler neck and screw it on.
3.
If the level is low, fill the recommended oil to the center of the dipstick.
AIR FILTER
Check that the air filter is not dirty or clogged. To clean it, follow the steps below:
1.
Remove wing nut and air filter cover.
2.
Clean the filter with soapy water.
3.
Rinse the filter with plenty of clean water
4.
Immerse the filter in clean engine oil and squeeze out the excess.
5.
Replace the filter.
CHECK THE TRANSMISSION GREASE
Check the transmission grease level annually. To check the level:
1.
Move the lever to the ground.
2.
Remove the grease level rod located between the handlebar supports. If the grease level does not touch the
rod, fill it with grease.
3.
Use the filled hole.
4.
Check that the front wheel drive and rear tine drive share the same transmission fluid or grease.
FUEL
ATTENTION: Do not overfill the fuel tank (there should be no fuel in the filler neck).
•
Fill the fuel tank in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks to
occur in the area where the engine is refuelled or gasoline is stored.
•
After refueling, make sure the fuel filler cap is properly and securely closed.
•
Be careful not to spill fuel when refueling. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite. If fuel is spilled, make sure the
area is dry before starting the engine.
•
Avoid repeated or prolonged contact with skin or breathing vapors.
Cleaning the fuel filter cup and O-ring:
1.
Remove the filter cup and O-ring.
2.
Wash with solvent
3.
Dry and reposition safely.
