DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS

The panel carries the controls for the following func-
tions.
A)Cooking start and stop (ON/OFF) button: for
starting or stopping the cooking program.
– With circuit board OFF: press once to switch on
the circuit board.
– With circuit board in standby mode or with heat-
ing in progress: hold down for +/- 6 seconds to
switch off the circuit board.
B)Power level setting button: reduces the power
level.
C)Power level setting button: increases the
power level.
D)Heating element selector button: for selecting
the three cooking plate activation modes.
E)Display: consists of 5 icons and 4 Digits:
e1) HEATING ELEMENT icons: three icons
controlled separately depending on the cooking
plate selected.
e2) ON/OFF icon: illuminates to indicate that the
appliance is powered up.
e3) Time icon: on if heating is in progress.
e4) Group of Digits:
– With circuit board OFF: off.
– With circuit board in standby: shows 4 red
dashes.
– With circuit board in setting mode: shows the
power level in green.

SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON AND OFF

Switching on
1 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to
disconnect it from the electrical mains.
Icon (e2) illuminates.
2 - Press button (A) to set the circuit board in
standby mode.
Icon (e2) goes out and icons (e1) illuminate; 4 red
dashes will appear on the display (e4).
3 - Press button (A) again to
appliance and start the cooking cycle.
The temperature will appear in red on the display (e4).
– With heating in progress: displays the
power level in red.
Switching off
1 - Hold button (A) down for ±6 seconds to switch
The appliance is still powered up.
2 - Turn off the appliance's circuit breaker to
switch on the

the appliance off.
Icon (e2) illuminates.
Important
disconnect it from the electrical mains.
