Pressure regulator reduces gas pressure from the cylinder or in the distribution
system. Gas passes the cylinder through the pressure regulator to the gas
outlets.

A - Inlet stem
Pressure regulator is fitted to the cylinder shut-off valve or to the distribution
system by means of an inlet stem. The stem can have a nut with female or
male thread. The inlet stem includes a filter.
B - Inlet pressure indicator
The regulator is fitted with a pressure indicator which is intended for cylinder
gas content indication only, not for measuring purposes.
C - Outlet pressure indicator
Outlet pressure indicator indicates outlet pressure of the valve.
D - Pressure outlet
Pressure regulator is fitted with a pressure outlet. The pressure outlet is the
outlet directly from the low-pressure chamber. Two types of the pressure outlet
can be used:
Pressure outlet I – is fitted with a gas specific medical quick connector also
called „quick coupler". The quick connector self seals when the male probe is
disconnected.
Pressure outlet II – is fitted with a threaded connector.
E - Control knob
Control knob is used for adjustment of outlet pressure (if applicable).
Pressure relief valve
Pressure relief valve serves for reduction of overpressure in the regulator. It is
fitted on the rear part of the regulator body.
