Examining motor filter
• CAUTION: During the assembly of the vacuum cleaner, control
checks or when attaching and detaching accessories, the device
has to be disconnected from the mains supply.
• Make sure that during use the motor filer and air outlet filter are
placed correctly.
• The motor filter (A) is located in the dust bag compartment
behind the dust bag. Release the locking device (15) of the lid and
open it.
• Take the filter out and check for possible creases and damages.
Insert the filter. If it is damaged, replace it immediately and before
first use.
Examining air outlet filter
• The air outlet filter is located on the rear side of the device.
• Release the locking device by pressing it together and take off
the filter (C) with the lid grate (D).
• Remove the air outlet filter from the lid grate and make sure the
filter is not damaged in any way. Insert the filter into the lid grate
again. Should the filter be damaged, replace it immediately and
before first use.
• Insert the lid grate again into the opening and lock it. A "clicking"
sound must be heard.
Examining the dust bag
• This device is supplied with a dust bag.
• Open the lid and put it up. Remove the dust bag by taking it out
of the dust bag holder (E). When inserting the bag, push the bag
plate always in the direction of the arrow (marking DOWN  )
into the dust bag holder.
• Check the dust bag (F) for damages and make sure that the dust
bag locking device is correctly attached and closes the bag.
• If the dust bag is not placed correctly or there is no dust bag, the
lid of the dust bag compartment will not close.
