5.5 Electric wax knife

Insert the cable of the electric wax knife into the socket (15) intended for this purpose at the side. Start the
wax knife heating process by pressing and holding the „I" (1c) button for one second; the value that was last
set will be displayed. A temperature indicator is not present here, just a value of 0 to 100. The value 100
corresponds with a temperature of approx. 240°C, depending on the blade thickness. Set the desired tempera-
ture using the „-" and „+" (6 and 7) buttons. If the highest possible temperature has not been set, the final
temperature can be set by pressing the „" button (boost button, 8). This maintains the temperature for
20 seconds and then automatically sets it back to the last value.

6. Cleaning and maintenance

6.1 Maintenance

Only clean the outside of the device using a lightly dampened cloth with the mains plug unplugged. Wipe
any overflowing wax and the dip tanks with a cotton cloth. The lids of the dip tanks can be removed and
cleaned when in an open position. Do not use any cleaning products containing solvents!
6.2 Maintenance
The device is maintenance-free for the customer.
