Clicking Sound is Normal
Fluid fl owing through the injector will automatically cause
the injector to "click" and inject a set amount of solution
into the fl uid line. The higher the fl ow rate the more
frequent the "clicking". The injector is designed to inject
solution proportionally (at the same set ratio) regardless
of fl uid fl ow.
Service Fluid Flow
Fluid fl ow and pressure must be within the established
specifi cations (see Specifi cation on page 6) for your
model.
Change Feed (Injection) Rate
NOTE: Each injector is factory set at 0.8% (1:128) with
Dosage Adjustment Rings (B), (D). Dosage Adjustment
Rings (A), (C) and (E) are included in your package
content. Fig. 1 shows the dosage piston factory set with
Adjustable Rings (B) and (D). To determine correct ring
usage see Fig 1a for letters indicator.
To change feed rate:
1. Turn OFF fl uid inlet valve.
2. Open exit valve to relieve water pressure in injector.
3. Unscrew #23 Adapter Nut from lower body (Fig 1b),
this will separate #7 cylinder from body.
4. Remove #53 clip (Fig 1) to access and change the
dosage adjustment rings based on the desired feed rate
follow Dosage Settings Chart below.
NOTE: Do not attempt to change the feed rate on the
injector WHILE OPERATING AND UNDER PRESSURE.
