Lower unit:
• For CleanJet ® units:
a) Pull out cleaning agent/rinse aid tank until it stops
b) Remove connector hoses from the cleaning agent/rinse
aid tank.
c) Remove tank from unit.
- Unscrew the lower part of the foot of the unit
- Unscrew the upper part of the foot of the unit using a
17 mm open-ended wrench
- Use an M10x30 screw to attach the new top foot section
(pos. 2, length 135 mm) to the device
- Screw in the lower part of the foot of the unit.
• For CleanJet ® units:
a) fix the hose set complete (pos. 8) with two hose clamps
to top of foot, front left,
b) fix the hose guide 102 bottom (pos. 9) with two hose
clamps to top of foot, rear left,
• If the upper unit is also to be fitted with CleanJet
proceed as follows:
a) Cut the two suction hoses of the complete connector set
(pos. 8) approx. 200 mm behind the connectors.
b) Remove the elbow joints of the unit.
c) Connect the connector hoses of the unit and hoses of
the complete connector set using the Y-joint.
d) Also attach the cut-away hoses of the complete
connector set (used for connecting to the upper unit) to
the Y-joint
e) Fix hoses with cable ties to the support
f) Position rear hose guide 102 (pos. 10) in place on
ventilation pipe and using M4x10 screws, screw to
bottom hose guide 102
• If the upper unit is not to be fitted with CleanJet
the connector hoses of the complete connector set
can be fitted direct to the pumps. Hoses must then
be shortened to the appropriate length.
- Position the unit and align it using a spirit level
- Remove the dome
- Clean the cover surface thoroughly
- Using silicone paste, spread a bead around the holes in the
unit cover
- Place the cover stiffening plate (pos. 5) in position
- Place the insulation (pos. 6) in the recess of the cover
stiffening plate.
- Place the cover (pos. 1) on the stiffening plate (the fixing
bracket for the deflector plate must point forward and the
bolts of the stiffening plate must fit through the holes in
the cover).
- Use the silicone to seal the gap between the cover and
stiffening plate.
- Refit the dome again with the distance piece.
