Removing the rechargeable battery

ATTENTION!
• The main unit may only be opened in order to dispose of the rechargeable battery.
• Be careful when opening the main unit; it is imperative that short-circuits are prevent-
ed.
• Do not open the rechargeable battery; there is a risk of a short circuit; irritating va-
pours or corrosive liquids may also be emitted.
• Do not expose the rechargeable battery to intense sunlight, heat or fi re; there is a
risk of explosion.
This device has an integrated rechargeable battery; it must be removed before disposing
of the old device.
1. The rechargeable battery compartment is located on the bottom of the main unit.
Loosen all the screws on the device.
2. Fold the device open. Some force or a tool (e.g. screwdriver) may be necessary.
3. Take the rechargeable battery out and open the clip on the connector cord.
4. Dispose of the rechargeable battery in an environmentally-friendly manner (collection
points or vendors).
