Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem
The device
operates slowly
doesn't start.
The suction power is
weak.
The device emits dust
when vacuuming.
No water comes out of
the spray bottle.
The control
doesn't illuminate
when the device is
connected to
mains supply.
Streaks when cleaning
windows or smooth
surfaces.
Potential cause/solution
only
or • Is the rechargeable battery empty? Charge it.
• Is the waste water tank full? Empty the bin.
• Is the fi lter heavily laden with dirt? Clean it.
• Is the suction opening plugged? Turn off the device and
remove the blockage.
• It is also possible that some particles remain caught in
the carpet fl oor or that they are too large/too heavy for the
device to vacuum up.
• Check whether the waste water tank, insert and fi lter have
been properly inserted and if necessary, adjust their seat-
ing.
• Check whether the spray nozzle is set to Spray or Stream
(see chapter "Cleaning windows and other smooth sur-
faces").
• Is the charger properly connected with a socket and is the
light
jack plug connected with the connector jack on the de-
vice?
the • Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Clean the squeegee lip.
• Rotate the squeegee lip if worn: Pull the squeegee lip to
the side and out of the holder, wet the area near the round-
ed part with water or cleaner and insert it back in the hold-
er the other way round.
• Replace the squeegee lip if necessary: If both edges are
worn after rotating the squeegee lip, a new squeegee lip
is needed. Replace the squeegee lip as described above.
• Check the dosage of the cleaner.
