Operating Your High-Speed
Slicer / Shredder
1) Put the food into the feed tube. Note: Do not cut
food too small. Pack the feed tube tightly. This
prevents food from slipping sideways during
processing. Do not place fingers in feed tube.
2) Switch the stand mixer "on" to "min" speed (or
speed 1 for cheese). Then push your food down
with the stomper.
Care and Cleaning for Your High-Speed
Slicer / Shredder
1) Switch the stand mixer "off" and remove the high-
speed slicer / shredder from the unit.
2) Lid, Stomper, Cutting Discs, Base Plate: Wash by
hand in warm water with mild detergent, and then
rinse and dry thoroughly. Use caution when
handling the cutting discs, they are very sharp.
3) Base: Wipe the inside with a damp cloth. Do not
let the central hole or the underneath get wet. Dry
thoroughly.
4) Note: Some foods such as carrots may discolor
the plastic. To remove this, rub the plastic with a
cloth dipped in vegetable oil.
