No cleaning, upkeep, checks or main-
tenance when machine is running
Be safe: Shut off the machine, let it cool
down, disconnect spark plug cap from
spark plug.
The machine does not require intense mainten-
ance. However, to ensure a long lifespan, we
strongly recommend following the upkeep and
maintenance plan.
Repairs must be carried out by specialists! Use
original ZIPPER parts only!

2.5.2 Controlling the engine oil
Set the plate compactor after 10 hours
standing time on a safe, smooth ground.
Remove the dipstick (Fig. H) and wipe it
clean.
Launch the dipstick into the oil tank with-
out screwing. Pull out the dipstick again
and control the oil level on the dipstick.
When there's too less oil in the tank (Fig.
J) you have to refill with recommended oil
(following list) till the edge of the tank.
The maximum tank capacity is 400 cc.

2.5.3 Changing the engine oil
The engine oil should be changed after
the first 20 operation hours and then
every 100 operation hours.
The oil is changed easier when it is warm
after operation.
For changing you can drain the old oil by
removing the oil filter cap and the screw
on the engine base.

the recommended oil (see 2.5.2)
