For the best results, we recommend that before processing food any further
you cut it up roughly with the device and remove bones and tendons from
meat.
Using Perforated Discs
1. Wipe the suction foot on the base (10) with a damp cloth.
2. Place the attachment (1) onto the base. Turn the ring closure (9) clockwise to fi x the
attachment in place.
3. Place the device on an even, stable surface.
4. Press the device down slightly and turn the wheel (8) in the direction of LOCK in
order to fi x the device to the table by means of the suction foot.

6. Insert the screw conveyor into the device.
7. Place the crank handle (7) into the receptacle at the rear end of the screw conveyor.
8. Place the cutter head (6) onto the screw conveyor.
CAUTION: Danger of injury! The blades are sharp! NOTE: Make sure that the edges
of the cutter head point outwards, towards you.
9. Insert one of the perforated discs (fi ne, coarse). Note: Make sure that the grooves of
the perforated discs sit correctly in the recesses on the device.
10. Screw the large locking nut (4) onto the device in the anticlockwise direction. Do not
overtighten the locking nut!
11. Place a bowl under the device to catch the chopped-up food.
12. Pour the food which you wish to chop up into the feed chute. Turn the crank handle
and press the food down the feed chute bit by bit using the plunger (2). CAUTION:
Danger of injury! Never push food into the feed chute using your hand or any objects
other than the plunger which is supplied!
13. Clean the device and all accessory parts after each use.
Using Shortbread Attachment
1. Prepare the shortbread mixture according to your recipe.
2. Prepare the device (see point 1 - 7 of the "Using Perforated Discs" section).
3. Insert the shortbread attachment into the device. Make sure that the grooves of the
attachment sit correctly in the recesses on the device.
4. Tighten the large locking nut by turning it anticlockwise. Do not overtighten the lock-
ing nut!
5. Slide the pastry shape bar into the shortbread attachment until you get to the pastry
shape of your choice.
6. Place a bowl under the device to catch the strands of dough.
7. Place the shortbread mixture into the feed chute. Turn the crank handle and press the
dough down the feed chute bit by bit using the plunger. CAUTION: Danger of injury!
Never push food into the feed chute using your hand or any objects other than the
plunger which is supplied!
5. Place the the bearing (H) onto the screw conveyor.
