Batteries
Pay attention to the 5 LED indicators on the front of the left battery compartment:
Each of the 5 LEDs indicates a battery charging level of approx. 20%. Note that it can take
•
a few seconds until the battery charging level is indicated.
Replace the batteries as soon as only one LED is lit. As soon as all 5 LEDs are dark, only a
•
short period remains until the batteries are fully depleted and the headlight is shut off.
To ensure optimum performance of the headlight, the batteries should be replaced every
•
12 months. If a battery can be inserted or removed only with difficulty, it has expanded
and must be put out of operation immediately.
Batteries that expand, develop cracks or become hot, must not be charged or used. They must
be disposed of properly and be replaced by new ones. The battery used in this device can lead
to fires or acid burns if used improperly.
Do not charge the batteries in the operation field.
